Seasons May Change...

November arrived.
I've been denying it a while now; denied its coming and denied its eventual arrival, yet here I am, admitting it.
November at last; November in finality.
And today it snowed the first time.

I had forgotten how beautiful the snowflakes are, floating in the air or blowing furiously from the dark, heavy clouds.
Winter?
Brr.

We have only 3.5 weeks of classes left (with a short break in the middle) before exam week, and after that: freedom--also known as Christmas holiday. It is exciting and terrifying all at once. There is so much to do and have done before then! Classwork, papers, research, applications, and two plays!

(Plus a promisingly delightful trip to NYC, friends visiting, Thanksgiving break, more friends, and iceskating on city squares.)

You are right in speaking how beautiful the New York version of fall is. It is gorgeous. I am glad for the snow for you as well as the fall colors you are blessed to enjoy. Enjoy them. jgh
